COVID-19 Updates | The Arc Gateway

UPDATE 4/1/2020, 4:45 p.m.:

Effective Friday, April 3rd, the agency will be complying with the Governor’s Stay At Home Executive Order.  

 

Therefore, all programs are closed for the next 30 days with the exception of essential services which include:

  • Residential Services
  • Welcome and Weigh Stations
  • Supported Living and Supported Employment (critical service only)
  • Shredding (staff only)
  • PALS will continue eLearning
  • Pearl Nelson will provide telehealth only
  • Admin will be open limited hours for critical needs
     

EMPLOYEES: please contact your supervisor for further instruction or with questions. We will send updates when available.

UPDATE 3/26/2020, 1:00 p.m.:

The following information is effective Thursday, March 26th.

 

All employees are expected to report to work as usual unless other arrangements have been made with your supervisor.  If you work in a department that is closed, please contact your supervisor or Human Resources to find out about additional opportunities in the agency.  

 

  • Pearl Nelson Center is open its regular hours.  Children are being seen either individually or through telehealth based on parent or guardian choice and insurance authorization.  You will be screened for illness upon entry to the building.  Please call 434-7755 for more information. 
  • PALS will begin remote learning on March 30th.  Staff will be contacting students this week. Please call 484-1185 for more information
  • Group Homes are open and providing service to residents.  Per the Governor’s order, no visitors are allowed in the homes. 
  • The following programs are closed to clients: 
    •             Pollak Training Center Shredding, Adult Enrichment and LIFE
    •             Pollak Industries
    •             Senior Adult BayView and Vincent Andry
    •             South Santa Rosa
  • Armstrong, Welcome Station and CBE will remain open as usual
  • Supported Living and Supported Employment coaches are available by phone and providing essential service only. 
  • Transportation will be providing essential service only
  • Dove Gift Shop and Gateway Café are open with limited hours

Both the Annual Dinner scheduled and the Bud Light Charity Golf Tournament have been cancelled.

UPDATE 3/19/2020, 3:30 p.m.:

The following information is effective Friday, March 20th:

    • Please confirm appointments with your therapist or call 434-7755
  • Pollak Training Center Shredding, Adult Enrichment and LIFE will be closed to clients
  • Pollak Industries will be closed to clients
  • Senior Adult BayView and Vincent Andry will be closed to clients
  • South Santa Rosa will be closed to clients
  • PALS will be moving to eLearning.  
    • Staff will be contacting students. Please call 484-1185 for more information
  • Armstrong will remain open as usual
  • Welcome Station and CBE will remain open as usual

UPDATE 3/17/2020, 4:15 p.m.:

Today, following several conference calls at both the state and federal levels, and in order to be compliant with CDC recommendations, we have made the following decisions:

  • Pollak Training Center including Adult Enrichment, Shredding and LIFE will be closing to clients at the end of the business day Thursday, March 19th through Friday March 27.
    • PTC will reopen March 30 unless the situation changes. 
  • Pollak Industries will be closing to clients at the end of the business day Thursday, March 19th through Friday March 27.
    • PI will reopen March 30 unless the situation changes. 
  • South Santa Rosa will be closing to clients at the end of the business day Thursday, March 19th through Friday March 27.
    • SSR will reopen March 30 unless the situation changes. 
  • Senior Adult will be closing to clients at the end of the business day Thursday, March 19th through Friday March 27.
    • SAP will reopen March 30 unless the situation changes. 
  • PALS is closed through March 27 and will reopen March 30 unless the situation changes.
  • Transportation will be closed until day programs reopen.
     

Programs which will remain open include:

  • Armstrong
  • Welcome Station
  • CBE
  • Group Homes
  • Pearl Nelson as scheduled with each individual therapist
  • Supported Living will provide essential services only to their clients
  • Employment Services will provide essential services only to their clients

 

Please note - ALL PROGRAMS will remain opened until End of Business Thursday, March 19th.

UPDATE 3/16/2020, 4:00 p.m.:

We are continuing to monitor the situation and following guidelines set forth by CDC. At this time, all programs will be opened on Tuesday, March 17th. 

Updates will be published daily.

 

 

UPDATE 3/13/2020, 5:45 p.m.:

Arc programs will remain opened as regularly scheduled come Monday, March 16th. We will continue to post updates daily on any changes made. As always, please take proper safety precautions. The health and safety of all Arc Clients and Employees is our top priority and we value each and every one of you.
