Design, execute and maintain a comprehensive marketing, public relations and branding strategy for The Arc Gateway, Inc.
Assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in learning career and life skills. Work with PALS staff to help identify career goals and pathways for success as well as individual student needs for personalized instruction. Provide support to PALS students both in the educational setting and, on occasion, on the job.
Ensure the health, safety and welfare of the residents through supervision of activities, assistance with personal goals and fulfilling the group home routine (i.e. meal preparation, daily chores, etc.).
Supervise assigned persons, provide relevant instruction and intervention, and monitor assigned activities and products.
Drives minibus, van, or lightweight truck to transport persons served
Assist in campus and community inclusion of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. MATES play an integral part in helping PALS students achieve their academic, personal, social, and lifelong goals. MATES may partner with PALS students in one or more of the following areas: Campus Clubs, Events, Exercise, Lunch, On the Job Training (Internships), Planning, and Studying.
Provide training and assistance in a variety of activities to support persons served with obtaining and sustaining paid employment at or above minimum wage in an integrated setting.
