Plant Nursery

The Arc Gateway Plant Nursery is open to the public and provides products for all of your gardening needs.  We like to think of ourselves as a gardener's nursery offering different and interesting varieties of plants that thrive on the Gulf Coast.

The plant nursery provides employment for approximately 40 adults with developmental disabilities.  While working, they learn horticultural skills such as plant identification, potting, pruning, propogating, merchandising, as well as excellent customer service and social skills.  Additionally, they are given an opportunity to be active outdoors and make lasting friendships.

Hours:

Monday - Friday:  8 AM - 4 PM

           Saturday:  7 AM - 3 PM

Need help to inspire your gardening ideas?  Stop in and tour our demonstration butterfly and hummingbird gardens!  Our expert staff can provide professional advice and tips for the chosen plants for you growing experience.
