The Arc Senior Adult Program offers a meaningful daily routine to individuals age 50+ with developmental and cognitive disabilities, who may be slowing down and experiencing age related health issues.
There are currently openings in this unique retirement day program, designed to provide a safe supportive environment to participants and peace of mind to families and caregivers.
Through a schedule of recreation, skill maintenance, and social interaction, individuals are guided through their day at two different locations in the beautiful setting of Bayview Park, part of the City of Pensacola Neighborhood Services.
Participants engage in activities such as music; art and crafts, exercise and community outings. They regularly enjoy guest speakers and performances by local entertainers. They also receive health screenings and learn vital information about nutrition and health issues.
The program is staffed Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:00 PM. Call Janet McIndewar, 850-432-3490, for information, payment options or to schedule a program tour.
